Description: TFG invites Industrial Engineering Interns to join the company's Industrial Engineering team to support the continuous improvement process change required.
The focus in 2020 is the identification of requirements for replacement of ERP, PM and Warehouse Management. All significant risks identified need to be mapped and improvement plans need to be put in place. New process improvements will need to be mapped and rolled out in teams which result from implementation of new systems.
The incumbent’s roles and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Current process mapping of all processes involving ERP, PLM and Warehouse Management.
- Support and assist the Senior Business Process and Technology Manager in execution of System Strategies.
- Work with business analysts to gather functional and reports requirements for systems implementation projects.
- Assist with documentation of business processes.
- Review current business and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work with process owners to implement process improvement changes to reduce lead time, improve quality, reduce risk, and improve delivery scorecard.
- Project manage initiatives as and when they are assigned.

- A relevant degree or diploma in Industrial Engineering
- Currently reside in Cape Town

- A good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of BI systems (Advantageous).
