CETA Corporate Services – Facilities Management Internship Programme 2021

Description: CETA is inviting learners to apply for the Corporate Services – Facilities Management Internship Programme 2021. 

The Construction Education and Training Authority (CETA) exists in terms of the Skills Development Act 97 of 1998 and is categorised as a Schedule 3A public entity in terms of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA). The CETA would like to employ interns on a fixed term internship contract.

Location: CETA Head Office, Midrand

Number of internship posts available: 2

Closing Date: Friday, 5 March 2021 at 16.30pm

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Grade 12 Certificate and a post-school qualification (B.Com HRM/ B.Admin HRM/ B.Com Industrial Psychology/ ND HRM/ BTech HRM/ BA/ B Social Sciences/ ND Business Management/ B. Com Business Management) or equivalent. 

Intern Job profile

  • Handle correspondence and enquiries relating to the Unit
  • Maintain the units records and files
  • Prepare and handle documentation for the units reports
  • Prepare meeting agendas and take minutes
  • Update relevant databases
  • Organise workshops and other events and functions for the unit
  • Providing administrative support to the co-ordination of the units budgeting process
  • Assist with information gathering for the preparation for audits
  • Maintain relevant data
  • Gather data and material for monthly and quarterly reports
  • Support the administration of all facilities processes
  • Performing all functions as delegated by the units Manager

Entry Requirements

  • Valid South African ID.
  • Relevant post matric qualification obtained from a recognized institution of higher learning.
  • Applicants must not have participated in previous SETA sponsored internship programmes.
  • Applicants must not have been previously permanently employed.
  • Previous work experience such as vocational work is welcome but it is not a requirement.
  • A detailed Curriculum Vitae
  • Certified copies of the identity document
  • Certified copies of qualifications
  • Motivation Letter
