Description: AfriGIS is looking for young individuals for a 12-month GIS and Data Internship 2021 to to join our team.
The purpose of this 12-month internship is to provide newly qualified graduates with the opportunity to gain meaningful workplace experience, and to develop their skills.
Location: Pretoria
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- A tertiary qualification in Geoinformation Science or equivalent.
- No prior work experience is needed.
Main Roles and Responsibilities:

- Data capturing
- Data cleaning
- Map production
- Data maintenance and editing
- Geocoding
Other Characteristics:
The ideal candidate will:
- Be detailed orientated.
- Pro-active.
- Willingness to learn.
- Have good communication skills (oral and written).
