Diversey Supply Chain Internship Programme 2021

 Description: Diversey is currently seeking to hire a  learner for their Supply Chain Internship Programme 2021.

As a Diversey intern, you will have the opportunity to gain a realistic job preview of working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that embraces change and creative thinking.

Responsibilities: 

• Generate weekly Back Order Report: Manual back order report to be run, all outstanding unfilled customer orders and quantity’s to be manually checked on the ERP system and manually entered on an excel document to be handed over to Factory Scheduler, Planning Lead, Factory Manager. 
• Assist the Inventory controller with quarterly stock count preparation: Clearing and investigation of bin locations on ERP systems Checking that all outstanding GRN’s are captured.

Stock Count Capturing/ Counting: 

• Counting stock at designated warehouse, assist team with stock capturing into excels documents, assist with recounts, and assist with Variances. 
• Liaise with dispatch and communicate all urgent stock for delivery to the Warehouse: 
• Out of stock queries are sent through, incumbent to phone dispatch ( factory ) if the stock is ready to be dispatched it needs to be communicated that it is priority and it needs to be delivered on the first shuttle to Freightpak. 

Chep Administrator: 

• Transferring the number of pallets and GKN bins used for stock dispatched to the Warehouse (Freightpak), investigating Pallet and GKN Variances. Supplying monthly report to Logistics Manager, Capturing Weekly cycle count of Pallets and GKN’s. 

Buyer for Labels and NPI’s: 

• Convert received Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order once release on SAP Send the Purchase Order to the Requisitioner and to the Supplier, so that payment can be made by Finance once the stock has been received and GR’d by the Requisitioner. 
• Run ZQ34 report to see open Purchase 
• Change PO dates in Transaction ME52N when stock is delivered and needs to be GR’d. 
• EDI System management Run daily EDI errors and communicate all errors to relevant parties for resolution Run VL06F reports daily and ensure deliveries are completed as planned 
• Clear intransit location to enable system accuracy and stock availability 

General assistant Functions 

• Assist Supply chain team with any adhoc requirements / support functions when required and based on current work load.
