Description: Johnson & Johnson is inviting graduates to apply for the Facilities Internship Programme 2021.
The graduates will lead and drive excellence in stores management and control to support the site operations through practical and effective application of the maintenance philosophy, driving innovative and cost-effective solutions to ensure best practices and compliance requirements are met to deliver high asset reliability.
They will also be responsible for the development and implementation of effective stores management and control using the maintenance excellence execution philosophy by mastering the computerised manufacturing maintenance system (Maximo).
The main duties and responsibilities of the position are:
- Responsible for the management of equipment, equipment spares, maintenance supplies, and tools as required by the Facilities and Engineering Departments.
- Co-ordinates daily collection, deliveries and issuing of spares to artisans
- Working with the engineering buyer to assist with contacting of vendors and service providers, with the investigation of sources of supply, price challenging, quality and service deliverables order management expediting being key objectives.
- Responsible for determining stock requirements, re-ordering of stock and ensures regular stock taking performed as per the store’s requirements.
- Responsible for good practices pertaining to stores control and purchasing.
- Integrity, cost control and quality of service are prime outputs for this job function.
- Responsible for the effective control of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and all facilities and engineering maintenance documentation pertaining to stores control
- Responsible for the effective management of the document archives stores and control of all documents
- Work with the engineering buyer in order to capture new machinery & equipment on the CMMS (Maximo) system
- Work with the planner to develop new PM schedules for all plant machinery & equipment with a focus on critical spares and availability of spares
- Work with the safety representative to ensure reliability and maintainability of all equipment, processes, controls, and safety systems. Including slings, harnesses, emergency recovery equipment
- Participates in team meetings with the technical teams to ensure any impact relating to spare part is mitigated.
- Data analysis techniques that can include:
- Root-cause problem solving RCPS
- Failure mode affective analysis FMECA
- Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action System (FRACAS)
- Applies value analysis to repair/replace, repair/redesign, and make/buy decisions.
- Actively participates in the identification and implementation of continuous improvements initiatives. Ensure wastages are minimized and maintenance costs contained or improved.
- Define maintenance plans and spare parts classification

Compliance
- Assists with ensuring that the Safety Health and Environment aspects of the Facilities and Engineering function is in compliance with:

- J&J Worldwide Safety and Health Standards
- Applicable Safety Health and Environmental regulatory requirements.
- Assists with ensuring compliance with quality standards and GMP regulations on all technical operations activities.
- Assists with ensuring that Maintenance Operations SOP’s and Work Instructions are updated and accurate
- Assists with ensuring Quality compliance J&J corporate and local procedures.
General
- Supports and assists with any work/activity that may be scheduled or unscheduled as instructed by Engineering Management and in doing so ensuring corporate and local compliance requirements are met.
- Ensures that time keeping is accurately maintained and is a true reflection of actual work done.
- Support Validation process with IQ, OQ and PQ tasks as assigned.
- Contributes to the reduction of NCs (Non-Conformances), deviations and complaints.
- Ensure the integrity of the data captured in the CMMS is accurate and updated monthly
- Guarantee the order and cleanliness maintenance in responsibility.
- Ensures compliance with the internal site requirements as well as HR policies and procedures. E.g. working hours, personal hygiene, etc.
- Conducts internal EHS/Quality /Housekeeping audits and ensures corrective action plans are initiated and closed out for area of responsibility
