We are a rapidly growing digital marketing and website design company based in Cape Town. We’re on the hunt for a marketing intern/online content creator. Working on written content for emails, website content, marketing materials like blogs and social media.

This will be a partly work from home position once training is completed. First 3 months training at our home office, then once a week meet up at the office for additional training and meetings. Willing to do various online courses to improve skills (courses paid for). Study will be part of the day's work, sometimes after hours studying will be needed.  

General tasks: Research, fact-checking, data capturing, content creation, copywriting, newsletter design, editing, proofreading, link building, emailing, meeting deadlines, administrative and other editorial tasks.

Salary: Based on experience.

A tiered commission structure will be implemented after training is completed, based on the amount of content created.

Hours expected: 8:30 -5pm, Mon-Friday. The first month will be training, studying full time and job shadowing before the client's portfolio is handed over to your fully. Your own computer is necessary and a decent internet connection when working at home. Laptop will be provided at our premises for you to work on.

Requirements

• Fluent English speaker/writer
• Willing to do various online course to improve skills (courses paid for)
• Good communicator and works well in a team
• Writing, editing, SEO, design or social media experience an advantage but not necessary
• Attention to detail
• Able to carry out simple instructions without putting your own spin on something, but also be creative when needed
• Problem-solving skills. Someone not afraid of researching solutions and troubleshooting issues
• Able to work remotely and commute to the office in Kenilworth while training and once/twice a week after training.
